Dance of the Deer Foundation - Weekend Retreat | April 1-3, 2011

The Santa Cruz Spring weekend retreat will be held at a beautiful retreat center located along the coastal dunes of the Pacific Ocean. Throughout the weekend you will learn practices of health and healing passed down for thousands of years. Brant Secunda, world renowned shaman and healer, will teach you how to connect with the Ocean in a spiritual way and how to build a connection between your soul and the world of nature.

The program will include instruction on spiritual practices of working with nature to release negativity and absorb positive qualities. The focus will also be on the power of light so that you may learn to brighten your soul through your inherent connection to the sun and experience ancient ceremonies to welcome the light of springtime. Delve into the ancient shamanic knowledge to empower and create a more balanced life.

One of the highlights of the retreat is a pilgrimage to the ocean. Brant will teach how to approach sacred places of power, like the Pacific Ocean, and how to absorb the innate energy of the place.
