Manuel Santana opened his Mexican restaurant in 1965, and it has been a family & neighborhood institution ever since. Using his favorite recipes, Manuel’s has held to its original principals of serving great Mexican food made from scratch and offered at reasonable prices. The portions served are generous, the atmosphere is friendly, and from generation to generation, families return to experience memorable meals and to reconnect with the Santana family. Manuel’s serves nightly specials, most notable is the Friday night Huachinango a la Jarocha, a golden crispy fresh snapper with a special slightly spicy sour cream sauce. Sunday is Mole night with succulent chicken in a dark complex sauce with a hint of chocolate, and Tuesday is Fish Taco night. The time tested margarita, perfectly balanced sweet and tangy is a popular favorite, but a Manuel’s philosophy is that a perfect glass of premium wine could greatly enhance your dining experience and nice selection of local high quality wines are also available at affordable prices. Whether you’re new in town or a local resident for generations, you’ll always be treated to great food and service from a crew that loves their job. Many have been with Manuel’s for over 20 years. Owners Leonardo and Patricia Santana think of them as family and often boast having the greatest team ever!
