Kianti's

Kelly & Tracy both grew up in the small town of Oakhurst, California. Friends since high school, these two women started their restaurant careers as teenagers working in several restaurants in the mountain area and continued their restaurant experience in San Luis Obispo waiting tables to put themselves through college. They leaped into their culinary careers without any hesitation and for ten years have owned and operated branded restaurants.

These women had always looked forward to the day when they would have their own signature restaurant and opening Kianti's in Santa Cruz offered the perfect fit for them and the community.

The vision of Tracy and Kelly was a triumph as soon as Kianti's Pizza & Pasta Bar's doors opened in January 2004 and continues to be a favorite of locals and tourists alike. Dine in their restaurant and the success speaks for itself.

Located in the heart of downtown Santa Cruz, Kianti's Pizza & Pasta Bar stands boldly amongst fellow businesses with its vibrant colors and welcoming atmosphere. The contemporary look and feel proves to be popular with both locals and tourists.

Diners can enjoy seeing chefs in action including Justin Wadstein, our World Pizza Spinning Champions from the exhibition kitchen. On Friday & Saturday nights these champions are accompanied by dancing staff and a flame-raising kitchen in a choreographed performance that will have you clapping your hands and cheering out loud. This indoor, lively and upbeat atmosphere is a crowd pleaser.

For those preferring a more relaxed experience, dine within the heated patio and cozy up to the fireplace.

Kianti's unique menu is designed to give guests the option of family style dining and the ability to sample several dishes in one visit. This locally owned favorite has been voted "Best Of" in Santa Cruz County beginning in 2004 when doors opened. Patrons will agree it is somewhere your entire family will enjoy.

Dine at our second location, A Slice Of Kianti’s, located near the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and just steps away from the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf. Only our most popular pizzas, calzones, sandwiches and appetizers are featured at this location.
